Love Fontana
Our Mission
The Love Fontana Initiative mobilizes churches, community groups, local schools, and the business community to work together to bring beauty, hope, and transformation to some of the most challenged areas in the City of Fontana. Through this collaborative effort, volunteers gather to help transform neighborhoods through an impactful day of service and beautification projects. Through these volunteer days, we hope to bring a sense of pride and ownership one neighborhood at a time.
2025 Year's Theme: Love Wins
This Year we are proud to announce that this year's theme for Love Fontana 2025 is Love Wins. This year's theme is based on the scripture John 3:16, "For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
Love Fontana History
Love Fontana has been apart of church's culture for 10 years. From 2012 to 2015 we operated under the name of Message in Action, we wanted to show that God's Word is something that listen to, but also something we act upon as we show our love for our city. Message in Action grew into Love Fontana in 2016 and has been here every year to our present.
We go out and show love to our city through cleaning up the Pacific Electric Trail as well as helping citizens within the City of Fontana.
2012
Message in Action started at Seville Park & Amphitheater located on Juniper and Seville. We would host these events every Friday by showing a Movie or having Pastor Daniel give the Gospel Message.
2013
One of the Message in Actions that was held was Hip Hop Night.

2015
Revive
The Year our Message in Action was a Christian Rave that was held at the Fontana Hockey Rink next to the Fontana Aquatic Center in North Fontana by Summit High School.
The Love Fontana Initiative [Love Your Neighbor As Yourself]
This Year Marked our first time going by the current name Love Fontana. This year was based on the scripture Mark 12:31. Where back then we hosted the event in a park, now we were going out into the city and showing the Love of God to the people. It included helping those who had Code Compliance.

This year marked our first time going by our current name: Love Fontana. This year was based on the scripture Mark 12:31. "And the second, like its, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." We evolved our events to now going out into the city and showing the Love of God to the people.
2018
Doing Good Together
This year's Love Fontana improved on the years before by beginning our beautification projects on the Pacific Electric Trail. This year's project was held between Palmetto & Tamarind Ave.

This year's Beautification project was once again hosted on the Pacific Electric Trail going from Palmetto & Tamarind Ave.

2022
Love
2022 marks the year that we moved to Veterans Park. Pastor Daniel had the Vision of getting the city more involved and so he invited the buisness owners of Fontana to get involved. With that it was a great presentation of churches and local buisness coming together to Love on our city together.
2023
Believe
The idea behind this theme, was based on John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever BELIEVES in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." This year Love Fontana was done across the different events. In January we had our very first health fair in which we helped people in getting glasses, diabetes screening, nutritional plans, etc. Then in May we had our Love Fontana event at Veterans Park, finally in June we had our third portion where we helped clean up the Pacific Electric Trail between Citrus & Tokay, as well as helping in cleaning families' yards.
2024
One Love Unites
One Love Unites is based on the scripture John 13:34, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." 2024 was the year that we moved to Miller Park.
